NYC mayor @BilldeBlasio says that the 9/11 memorial lights in memory of the 2,606 New Yorkers, including 343 firefighters, won’t shine this year, because it is too dangerous for the electricians to work together to connect the lights due to COVID-19 social distancing rules.

Follow the lies. Public hanging

NYC Mayor Eric Adams has fired another 200 city workers for not getting the COVID-19 injection.

This brings the total termination count to 1,752.

Is New York's Governor any better?

If so here someone needs to step in because it's clearly personal firing people based on your own beliefs.

Glad to have visited NY one time, from a tourist perspective...around 2001 or so.

Was sure I would go again one day from a traveller perspective , that day may never come.

Wouldnt even take a free trip with free spending money these days.

That's only 1% of the workers. Several public employee unions whose members were fired for refusing the shots blasted Adams for apparently lifting the rule only for wealthy and famous athletes.

The city's largest police union echoed that argument saying its officers "don't deserve to be treated like second-class citizens."

"If the mandate isn't necessary for famous people, then it's not necessary for the cops who are protecting our city in the middle of a crime crisis," said union president Pat Lynch.
